Another school collapse in Haiti
Todays news of another school collapse and the tragic outcome of around 90 deaths from the first collapse which occured as I was preparing to packup and leave Haiti. The first school in Petionville was not all that far away from where I had been working in Port au Prince.
While the local Haitian Red Cross was very involved in the response to these school collapses the International delagation was not involved in the first, except for offers of assistance and in particular lighting equipment, which were not required.
