Amateur Radio Remains "Only Viable Means" of Communication in Some Areas after Rita

The Amateur Radio support of communications continues after the main evacuation in a number of different forms. Amateur Radio operators in the US, like those in NZ and around the world are prepared to assist with emergency communications whenever needed.

However we also face battles with local government rulings relating to our ability to install suitable antenna systems.
